Business as a force for good

"When we founded MOMO, we set out to prove that business can be a powerful force for good, not just in what we make, but in how we treat people, the planet, and our partners. From the beginning, we have always believed in doing things the right way: sourcing organically, manufacturing in-house and embedding care into every step of the business.
Becoming a certified B Corp was an important milestone in this journey. It gave structure and accountability to our values."
Josh & Lisa Puddle
Co-founders, MOMO Kombucha

Kombucha that makes a difference
In 2022 we were proud to become a certified B Corp and achieve a score of 94.4, the highest scoring kombucha company in Europe.
In 2025 we re-certified and managed to increase our score to 106, making us the highest scoring kombucha company in the world.
For us, B Corp isn't about a badge, it's about a framework that holds us accountable and helps us improve in ways that actually matter.

Commitment to the environment
MOMO's core kombuchas are certified organic by the Soil Association. We chose the Soil Association because it is the most widely recognised certification body in the UK and is a charity that works hard to transform the way we eat, farm, and care for our natural world.

Commitment to the team
From the beginning we have been a London Living Wage Employer, paying our team a real, livable wage which is independently calculated to reflect the higher cost of living in London.
Furthermore, all full time team members are eligible for share options giving them an ownership interest in MOMO.

1% pledge
Since launch we have donated 1% of our revenues to charitable causes.
The organisations we have supported include Future Dreams, an incredible breast cancer charity; Natoora Farm Fund, a charity championing agroecological farmers to create a more sustainable farming future; City Harvest, one of the largest food rescue organisations delivering over 1.2 million meals a month to those in need and Save the Children, an amazing charity supporting families with life-saving basics from food and shelter to clothes.
