Healthier, more connected lives.

Healthier, more connected lives.

When Lisa & I started MOMO, it was our way of living healthier and more connected lives. With every bottle we hope to encourage others to do the same.

In this piece, I discuss what that means to me, and how I intend to nudge myself further in that direction this year.

What does living a healthier more connected life mean to you?

For me, "healthier" means moving in the right direction with my core health pillars: sleep, nutrition, exercise, and managing stress.

In terms of connection, it's about finding purpose in what I do, building strong relationships with my family, staying connected to my friends and trying to live in alignment with my true self.

What rituals help you achieve that?

Like everyone I go through different phases throughout the year. Some of the things that are key are going to bed early, journaling before bed, running, cold swimming at Brockwell Lido, Barry's Bootcamp, Hotpod Yoga, and a morning meditation.

Clearly, a lot of that has gone out of the window with the arrival of Riley.

I usually try and finish early on Friday to pick up the kids and watch a film with them. Also, every time I put the kids to bed we go through highlights for the day which is great way to get them thinking about daily gratitude.

Building MOMO gives me a lot of purpose. From the start it has felt like the thing I was supposed to be doing which I feel incredibly grateful for.

How will you be aiming to achieve it in 2025?

Consistency. I love having a routine and am conscious sticking to a routine will be much harder next year as Lisa and I just had a baby!

One of the key things I want to work on is being on my phone less, especially when away from work. I also want to work on my nutrition - I'm pretty greedy and definitely need to eat less and fast more. I was doing intermittent fasting for a while and felt great from that, but it has slipped recently.

Finally, I've joked with Lisa that I want to reach peak fitness at 43, and as I'm turning 40 next year that is starting to feel close.

I better get moving...
